About Fort Howard
Welcome!
Hello, Fort Howard Pioneers! We value family engagement that includes families in their child's education. This is done through APFTT sessions (Academic Parent/Family Teacher Teams). This allows one-on-one conferences and sessions that support families in identified grade levels with learning sessions that provide support to the families with curriculum and activities that can be completed at home. Fort Howard is a schoolwide Title 1. Our staff believes in meeting individual academic and social emotional student needs. We spend time teaching self-regulation, learning how the Event + Their Response = The Outcome. Through this process we learn about overcoming challenges, strategies that will support them to have, “Ready Bodies and Growing Minds.”
Expected and Unexpected Behaviors: We are working hard to support students with managing their emotions, addressing challenging situations, and working through their struggles. Our goal is to provide our students with strategies and skills that will prepare them to be college, career and community ready.
Let's have a great year!

I am so glad that my son was able to transfer to Fort Howard. He has made so many gains in the past two years. I am so proud of him. He could not do it without all of the support!
